Yearbook photos of politicians!

Normally, we only get to see politicians when they're appealing to the masses to elect them to office. We see them in suits, with perfectly coiffed hair and a PR manager.
But to really think of them as human beings, it helps to go back.
How far back?
Let's check out Barack Obama's high school yearbook photo, found on Vito Corleone:
To be fair, there are heaps of photos of the young Obama all over the net, since he's a younger candidate.
But to see someone like John McCain, as a young man, well that adds life to the Senator:

It's interesting to see these politicians as young folk because there's one common thread... they're all reasonably attractive. Is it possible to be an ugly fella and still have a career in politics?
Anyway, these photos are more interesting than the yearbook photos of celebrities, like Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez and Tom Cruise. Most of them look eerily similar to how they look as an adult. We don't need that kind of black magic on our set, thanks. Why can't the rest of us stay youthful? Is it a pact with the devil?
