With Jerry Seinfeld's new Bee movie coming out and irritating audiences around America, it's a good time to look back and think about the show that infiltrated our collective conscious with so many memories.
YesButNoButYes has a fantastically researched article on the lesser Seinfeld characters and what became of them.
On the list are fantastic characters like the Soup Nazi, Poppy, Sue Ellen Mischke, The Virgin, the Maestro...
The article also points out an interesting connection between the actors that played on the show: many of them have gone on to Star Trek-related duties. Why? Is there a greater meaning to this? Or are the actors from Seinfeld inherent geeks?
In any case, it's hard to imagine a list of secondary characters that are as well-known. Even before I watched a single episode of Seinfeld, I knew who the Soup Nazi was. And Babu Bhatt, with his dangerous finger-wag.
