Tom Cruise is the pirate king.

With an eye patch on, things appear sillier than they really are

I just can't stop laughing at how ridiculous Top Cat looks in this first still from the Bryan Singer WWII film Valkyrie.

Looking like Colonel Klink and Snake Plisken's DNA were melded in a jar the overenthusiastic, one face fits all emotions actor cant help but chew scenery at the best of times. Here even if he decides the character is a dumb deaf mute the film is going to be a comedy because of the ridiculous costume.

In Valkyrie the "Im so hetrosexual I will sue anyone who says different" celebrity plays Claus von Stauffenberg, one of Hitlers men that was involved in a conspiracy to whack the genocidal Nazi.

Expect hands waving in the air, a bouncing head and bulging eyes without the benefit of the "C" bomb to convince himself he has some talent.

Well done and well commented. When I first heard of Tom Cruise taking on this role, I did think he would do a great injustice. What a shame. The story of Claus von Stauffenberg and other who risked their lives must be told but not by this actor or others who just want to expand their personality or lack thereof. Filming would have been so diffucult for the people of Germany and especially the family and friends of von Stauffenberg. Thank you for bringing us this post.

What is it with Tom Cruise?? It wasn't enough that he tried to play tough guy in the Mission Impossible movies and then made andinferior War of the Worlds and now we have to buy him as a Nazi??? PUHLEESE!!!!!
