That's right. The Simple Life has been cancelled.
Can I get a 'Woo Hoo!'?
While I admit that I've only seen it once, once was more than enough. The memorable dialogue:
Housewife: We'll go to Walmart to pick up [standard household item]
Hilton: What's Walmart?
*stunned silence*
Hilton: Do they sell walls there?
Hilton: What's Walmart?
*stunned silence*
Hilton: Do they sell walls there?
Not only is this ludicrous, but it's obviously fake. Of COURSE Hilton knows what Walmart is. The Waltons are one of the richest American families and have probably dined with the Hiltons several times. Hell, they probably shoot horses and ride pigeons together on the weekends.
To be honest, I was hoping that there would be a surprise ending to the show. For example, they'd put Paris and Ritchie in an inner-Detroit ghetto and then cancel the show. Let's see what racial slurs come out the girls' mouths then.
While The Simple Life has been cancelled, I'm sure we'll see a lot more out of these two, as this season's crop of sex tapes hit the Internet. Yawn.

Doesn't surprise me. I only watched the first season. Paris is dumb, but she doesn't seem mean spirited. Nicole was actually mean.
