Thomas Jane prepares for carnage



Writer Stephen King's novel The Mist blends John Carpenter's The Fog into a shopping mall haunting. Like Dawn of the Dead (minus Zombies) a handful of survivors must battle a supernatural force that houses evil spectres out for blood.

What sounds by the numbers may well be lifted by Director Frank Darabont who notably adapted a little known King novel called The Shawshank Redemption. The film stars uber cool Thomas Jane (Boogie Nights, Stander), William Sadler (Bordello of Blood) and Marcia Gay Harden (Pollock)

Horrorphile
This was one of the last King stories I really liked, more of a novella really. It had some fantastic out of this world creatures ...
I hope Darabont does it justice!
