Writer/Director Terry George follows up his successful Oscar nominated Hotel Rwanda with another story seeking sincere power and examination of real human emotions.

A dramatic thriller, grief and loss are centre stage as two fathers Ethan Learner (Joaquin Phoenix) and Dwight Arno (Mark Ruffalo) struggle to deal with the aftermath of a child's death from alternate perspectives, one man the cause and the other effect. The film co stars Jennifer Connelly (Dark City) and Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite) as their wives.
