Rendition is a term coined by the CIA meaning, "Basically the government is authorised to transfer anyone they think mighty be a terrorist to prisons outside of the US."
Directed by Gavin Hood (Tsotsi) and starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko) as a CIA analyst Douglas Freeman, who witnesses an abducted suspects torture and begins to question the system.
The film also stars the gifted Peter Sarsgaard (Salton Sea), Alan Arkin (Wait Until Dark) Meryl Streep (Deer Hunter), J K Simmons (Oz) and Reese Witherspoon (Election).
