Remaking 'Enter the Dragon'?

The great thing about graverobbing is that you're robbing dead people. Even little old ladies put up a fight, but not dead people.
While the most obvious thing to steal from dead people are their rings, gold teeth or silver tongues, it's far more profitable to steal their ideas or their reputation.
Ideas are tough to steal, though... once you've dug a coffin up, as soon as you pry out one of the nails, the ideas will seep out through the newly-formed crack and escape into the night.
No, you've got to put a saucer of almond extract on a chair while you pry off the coffin lid. The ideas, curious about the almond smell, will hang around long enough for you to capture them in a vial of KY Jelly.
It appears that they're going to remake Enter the Dragon.
They're calling it Awaken the Dragon.
And Bruce Lee?
They're raping his corpse.

They re-made "Fist of Fury" in a Hong Kong film starring Jet Li and I felt it did no justice whatsoever to Bruce Lee's original.

It is a Bruce Lee film.
It is about him kicking butt.
No one else could take his place.

Damo, I don't think anyone can replace Lee... he put himself through an insane training regiment, and hurt a lot of his actors in the movie from the force of his kicks and punches.

I know exactly what you are talking about.
Really Long Link
As much as I like Jet (Tai Chi Master was amazing) he wasn't Bruce. No one else could be.

JD, a noir? sigh...
david, tracy - that sounds vaguely more interesting...
bryn - I know what you mean. They'll eventually remake every good movie ever made, and will have to start making remakes of terrible movies.

Ah, the plot has been recycled over and over.. if they try to reproduce Lee, then everything's gone to pieces. The Hong Kong imitators were pretty bad, too..
