There is no denying that critics love tearing films apart and that readers often get amusement from scathing critiques littered with mean spirited metaphors. The ultimate example of this is the Razzie Awards.
An annual ceremony that draws attention to, and rewards accolades to the cinematic abortions of the previous 12 months, think the Oscars inverted. Instead of Best Picture it is the Golden raspberry that is the top prize of the evening.
The 29th Razzie’s will take place on February 21 2009 at the Barnsdale Gallery Theatre and the nominees are;
