Owen Wilson in hospital for suicide attempt

He's best remembered for his satirical role as 'Hanson', the X-treme male model that stole the show from Derek Zoolander in Zoolander. His crooked nose, usually a limiting feature, has become his thing, caricaturized by cartoonists and lusted after by Hollywood headhunters.
Admitted into a California hospital, with rumours that he had cut his wrists and overdosed on pills, he's recovering now, and will go into detox.
In his films, Wilson plays a happy-go-lucky, carefree spirit, usually too short-sighted to be mindful of other people's feelings. It's his role, and we assume that he's really like that.
Much of Hollywood is a facade, and just like other celebrities with real stories to hide, perhaps Wilson has a deep crevice of sorrow running crookedly down his face.
