Few action heroes come close to inhabiting the same daring cunning as imminent archaeologist Indiana Jones. The original Raiders of the Lost Ark is an adventure with few peers.
I’m approaching Spielberg’s return to the franchise with the same trepidations Indy would when entering a cave full of deadly booby traps. After all this is a man who has let his heavy handed sentimentality undermine just about all his films in the last decade.
Isn't Harrison Ford to old for this shit? I’m a fan of Shia La Beof and Ray Winstone though so maybe it will balance out. You have to hope that because the project was on the drawing board for years that the time was spent honing and refining the script. Detailing storyboards into an involving story with the velocity of an out of control mine cart.
Anyway, here is the latest art work for the movie that arrived just last week. Pretty pedestrian if you ask me, in fact I thought the teaser poster was more enticing.

Also with a new poster online comes the Chris Nolan sequel to Batman Begins titled The Dark Knight. Carrying on from the origin story we will get to see the promised reincarnation of the Joker. Rumoured to be more dastardly and mentally unhinged than previous depictions of the laughing Arkham prisoner, the first shots of Heath Ledger in the role do unnerve. (This still doesn’t convince me he can pull it off though)
This latest poster fits neatly into the advertising campaign of hijacked bootleg websites and disturbing hostage videos. The Joker truly seems to be menacing the city of Gotham and in effect the fans too.
