Mia Farrow, notable actress and activist, has written a letter to Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.
That's pretty spectacular in itself. When was the last time you wrote a letter? After email, posting a snail mail letter seems antiquated, bordering on a ridiculous luxury of time.
In the letter, Farrow offers her own freedom in exchange for Suleiman Jamous, a local rebel that helped to bring negotiations to Sudan.
From the letter:
I wonder what she'd do if the Sudanese President took her up on that offer? I'm a fan of Farrow, and if I were the President, and I had to incarcerate her in a Sudanese prison, I'd get her out of there and force her to lead a life of pampered luxury, being fed grapes and walking on rose petals. Let's see her get out of that!
