“I get the worst of both worlds. I look like a geeky hacker, but I don't know anything about computers.” – Justin Long
Following in the footsteps of the mighty Paul Rudd, Justin Long has made a comedy screensaver for Funnyordie. Most people recognize Justin as that kid from the Apple commercials; combined with his acting gigs he is leading a geek boy fantasy life.
Making his big screen debut with a memorable turn in 1999’s Sci Fi Trek satire Galaxy Quest playing the wiz kid fan who receives the phone call of a lifetime. Since then he has appeared in minor cult hits like Jeepers Creepers, Raising Genius, Dodgeball, Idiocracy and Die Hard 4.
Long has a full schedule for release in the next year, amongst them Planet 51 an animated Sci Fi that has him voicing his character alongside Gary Oldman, John Cleese and Jessica Beil. He is also lending his vocal skills to another animated feature, Alpha and Omega with Dennis Hopper, Christina Ricci and Heroes unbreakable Cheerleader Hayden Panettiere.
His part in the all star comedy He’s Just Not That Into You puts him amongst Jennifer Connelly, Drew Barrymore, Kris Kristofferson and Kevin Connolly.
Is this enough for his lifestyle to include sleeping with Playboy Playmates? Dating Drew Barrymore and brushing with celebrity elite all free of the pesky baggage that is Paparazzi obsession. It’s true his dent on pop culture lexicon thus far is minimal, but as the fun clip below proves there are a few of us fans happy to be entertained by his off the cuff style.
