Jessica Alba does Hitchcock

Jessica Alba goes Psycho
No this is not in reference the latest Japanese horror remake of The Eye that the geek boy fantasy is scheduled to appear in later this year. Instead I am referring to the Classic Horror Movie spread for that Jessica Alba recently did for Latina Magazine.
Recreating iconic images from scarefests of the past some good and some bad. Shots from Scream do little for me. There is also Alba doing a set recreation from The Ring, problem is its the lame remake they emulate so all the grainy B&W atmosphere of the original is lacking in the photo.
I quite liked her turn as Mia Farrow’s part in Rosemary’s Baby but have opted to display the two from the master of suspense’s films. The master of suspense, of course being Alfred Hitchcock and here we have two unforgettable originals adequately realised by the impostor.
The first muse is Janet Leigh in Psycho. Alba is rather effective in the picture though her eyes betray the impression of true terror. The second is Tippi Hedren in the Birds, like the Psycho one this also captures the essence of the cinematography from the film but is let down by a lack of convincing physical panic.
Though I criticise obviously there is still much to admire about the photographers care at trying to turn back time. The lighting and tone accurately emulate the source.

I agree it does look a littyle out of whack now you mention it, but why? Surely any chance to expose Alba's fleshy bits is an opportunity taken?
