Jake Gyllenhaal is officially Spiderman
Like it or not, Spidey 4 is on the way and a scoop over on joblo.com has confirmed that Donnie Darko himself Jake Gyllenhaal (Jarhead) will replace baby faced, doe eyed Tobey Maguire (Wonderboys) in the role of Peter Parker.
Maguire recently announced that he would not be reprising his character and left the franchise in some doubt. Producer Sam Raimi (Evil Dead) has not confirmed if he will return to the Director’s chair, yet, but the 4th sequel is planned for a 2010 release.
On the Directing tip Gyllenhaal is also talking to Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Jarhead) about being the man to yell action and cut on the project. Also up in the air at present is the role of love interest Mary Jane previously played by Jake’s ex Kirsten Dunst (Virgin Suicides).
The name of terminal hot stuff Megan Fox (Transformers) has supposedly come up in conversation for the part, as has femme cutie Natalie Portman (Leon the Professional). Strange but true in an incestuous turn there is also talk of Jake’s real life sister Maggie (Secretary) becoming his object of passion.
I would not even entertain this idea if it hadn’t been for a quip made some time ago by Mr Darko along the lines of "I would love to make out with my sister...but only for a movie, of course".
Now it's time for the truth- Really is a shame that this is in fact an April Fool's Day Joke because it is so easy to believe! Good one Joblo.com you fooled us all!]

Would that really be so disturbing though? I mean it's not unfathomable to me that Jake Gyllenhaal should find his sister attractive; I find her attractive. After Secretary who wouldn't. In any case, it was foxy trick you just played, a damm foxy one!

It's one thing to accept your sister is attractive, totally different sticking your tongue down her throat....agreed though taht Maggie is cute as hell and worthy of my attention
As for the prank, it was all joblo's doing, it just pulled me in so completely I had to rip it off for myself...yep I have no shame.
