You can't call yourself the child of Ozzy Osbourne if you don't at least have a screwed up childhood.
Jack Osbourne has confessed he started taking drugs at just 12 because he felt ugly.
"I was a fat kid with big specs in Hollywood, where everyone is beautiful," he admits.
Now clean after a stint in rehab, he says: "I still go out and party, I still get women. The difference is, I can now remember what happened."
I'm not sure what the relationship is between low self-esteem and drugs, especially for a 12 year old. The problem with being born into a famous rock star family is that you have both options of fully stuffing up your life or using the privileges of fame to further your career in the future or something beneficial like that.
Jack Osbourne did the smart thing and screwed up his life first, then got back on track plus he ends up with all these oh-my-shady-past stories in hand that could just spell another memoir ala Nicole Richie's The Truth About Diamonds.
