Writer/Director Paul Haggis scripted Casino Royale, Letters To Iowa Jima, Million Dollar Baby and created Walker Texas Ranger (Pick the odd one out). Now he follows up his award winning Oprah friendly Directorial feature debut Crash with In the Valley of Elah.
A politically minded thriller that sees Hank and Joan Deerfield (Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon) attempting to uncover the truth about what happened to their GI son in Iraq. Along the way they enlist the help of Police detective Emily Sanders (Charlize Theron) to uncover the truth.
The film also stars Jason Patric (Narc, Your Friends and Neighbours), James Franco (Spiderman) and Josh Brolin (Goonies, No Country for Old Men).
