Threatening to leave you weeping, while also thinking Grace is Gone stars John Cusack as Stanley Phillips, a husband and father of two.
When the devastating news arrives that his wife has been killed in Iraq Stanley takes his young daughters on a National Lampoons Vacation to Wally World. Well not quite but he does go on a road trip to an amusement park because he doesn't know how to communicate the life shattering fact that the girls mummy is dead.
Receiving the best screenplay and audience awards at Sundance this year, the film puts a human face to the nameless casualties of the war for oil that we hear about on the evening news, showing the repercussions of those left breathing.
