Over at les-film.fr they have just posted the first pictures of the upcoming real world super hero film Hancock.
Directed by Peter Berg (The Kingdom, Very Bad Things) and written by John August (Big Fish, The Nines) according to imdb.com the story is about "A hard-living superhero (Will Smith) who has fallen out of favor with the public enters into a questionable relationship with the wife (Charlize Theron) of the public relations professional (Jason Bateman) who's trying to repair his image."
The premise sounds interesting but once you cast the terminally dull Will Smith (Six Degrees of Seperation)and Charlize "I need more make up to pretend I'm some one else" Theron you know this will be lowest common denominator stuff. Jason Bateman (Arrested Development, The Kingdom, Smokin Aces) offers a glimpse of hope that at least his scenes will amuse.
