Set in a London underworld littered with Russian mobsters visionary Director David Cronenberg's (Videodrome, Scanners) latest film is called Eastern Promises.
Teaming up again with his A History of Violence leading man Viggo Mortensen (Indian Runner) plays Nickolai, a gangster who's past is discovered by a nurse named Anna (Naomi Watts) forcing him to consider redemption and honour. The film also stars Vincent Cassel (Irreversible, Crimson Rivers)
