David Hasselfhoff goes East
The Knight Rider of Baywatch David Hasselhoff has doen some whacky things in the past. Becoming a pop music sensation in Germany, starring in a drunken home video with his daughter and now this.
Variety.com is reporting the Hoff has signed to star in a sequel to the Chris Farley/Chris Rock flop Beverly Hills Ninja. Crazier still the production is going to shoot in South Korea?
Strange, a film with “Beverly Hills” in the title is taking place on the other side of the planet. Stranger still, the aging Hoff-man is going to replace a rotund dead comedian. Circumventing this problem, the little information available at this time says he will play a character named Ansel LaDouche. An asshole action star who gets mixed up in all sorts of kung fu hijinx.
Is this one of the dumbest ideas ever? Destined to go straight to DVD, this is yet another example of the money Hollywood has to burn on trash in favour of quality.
