Oh dear, we have another poorly named celebrity baby.
Ex-Spice Girl Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) has named her newborn daughter...
BLUEBELL MADONNA HALLIWELL
That is worse than Moses or Suri, but just as bad as Kal-El and as wacky as Apple. Why? Why? Why do celebrities do this to their own kids?
Geri Halliwell puts up her hand to answer the question.
"Scarlett was another name I loved, as Scarlett O'Hara was my fictional heroine. But as I walked round the park in the last few weeks of pregnancy, I seemed to see bluebells everywhere.
"But what really clinched it for me was my mother telling me that the bluebell is increasingly rare - it's a precious flower, which seems just right for my daughter. There's a good reason I picked Madonna as a middle name, too. As she came out of my tummy, Bluebell had both arms flung wide in the air as if announcing to the world, 'Hi! I'm here!'
So there you have it. Why Geri Halliwell named her baby... Bluebell Madonna Halliwell.
In other baby-naming news, Angelina Jolie has entrusted the important ritual to Namibian Governor Samuel Nuuyoma, who has become a close personal friend to her and Brad Pitt. Maybe, just maybe, he just might christen the Brangelina baby !Xobile.
Now, that is a pretty cool name.
