Disney’s Bolt gets a new poster and trailer

Bolt To The Rescue.
Due for release new year’s day 2009 Bolt is the latest CG animated film from Walt Disney studios. Making its name with hand drawn like Snow White and The Seven Dwarves, Fantasia and The Jungle Book in the modern age the iconic studio has had to move with new technology.
To date there desire to enter the world dominated by Dreamwork’s and its own Pixar banner has met with a distinctly more childish appeal. Bolt looks as if it may be an attempt to deliver something more universal from its high powered computer illustrators and scriptwriters.
Bolt is the story of a white American Shepard who stars in his own weekly TV Show. Playing a fictional superdog that possesses strength and durability far beyond those of mortal dogs. Problem is that Bolt is completely unaware that his is a scripted universe with Special FX and choreography. So it is that Bolt believes he has superpowers and is indeed a hero to millions.
Naturally circumstances prevail that force the pampered and psychologically warped K9 to see the world as it really is.
Lending his vocal talents is Tony Monero himself John Travolta as the voice of Bolt. Miley Cyrus and Malcolm McDowell also lend there diction to the film.
One big thing this has going for it is that Chris Williams the Writer/Director who penned the very funny Emperor’s New Groove a few years back is at the helm. I haven’t been impressed with much out of the Disney cannon for years so the question remains, will they ever succeed and reaching the forefront of the industry again? Is Bolt the film to do it?
